Dr. Moussa obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Western Ontario and has been providing patients with quality general dentistry care for over 20 years. Dr. Moussa also has a masters degree in clinical anatomy from Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry from the University of Western Ontario.
A believer in continuing education, Dr. Moussa has completed a 2-year residency program in orthodontics with the Academy of GP Orthodontists and is a registered Invisalign provider. She is also a certified provider in 3 modalities of sedation to help put her anxious patients at ease. By June 2023, Dr. Moussa expects to complete a mini residency with the Institute of Dental Excellence (TIDE) to place dental implants.
Dr. Moussa is known for putting her patients at ease with her vibrant and bubbly personality. She believes in building lasting relationships with her patients, educating them about good oral health, and helping them achieve their dental goals.
Dr. Moussa is a graduate of the Pacific Training Institute for Facial Aesthetics & Therapeutics – an advanced anatomy-based training organization known for it’s high-caliber of teaching and patient care practices. As a graduate, Dr. Moussa joins some of the most highly trained and qualified botulinum toxin and facial rejuvenation practitioners in North America.
In her spare time, Dr. Moussa loves spending time with her family and friends, cheering on her kids, watching Disney movies, cooking, and enjoying the outdoors in her beautiful city of Calgary. She is fluent in English and Arabic, and even speaks a little French!
Melody
Senior Treatment Coordinator
With over two decades immersed in the dental industry, Melody’s journey began in 2001 as a Dental Assistant, subsequently evolving into an Orthodontic Assistant through specialized training. She devoted 15 years to chair-side support in an array of general and specialty dental offices, honing her clinical skills and fostering a deep appreciation for patient care.
Choosing to expand her expertise, she transitioned into the administrative realm of dentistry, where her passion for patient support and industry knowledge could flourish in new ways. Melody’s focus has always been centred around facilitating patients in achieving their dental objectives. Moreover, fostering relationships and understanding patients and their families on a personal level has always been incredibly rewarding for her. She can also speak Hungarian!
In her leisure time, she cherishes moments with her teenage daughters, close friends, and lively Yorkie-Poo. Her adventurous spirit finds joy in traveling and embracing thrilling activities like zip-lining and white-water rafting. She also indulges her creative side, exploring crafts, sewing, and quilting, while also relishing outdoor activities such as hiking and golfing. Recently, her explorations have led her to discover new places and explore local establishments and patios with her loved ones.
She brings to her role as Senior Treatment Coordinator a blend of clinical and administrative expertise, ensuring a seamless and empathetic patient journey through Huntington Family Dental.
Shilpa
Registered Dental Hygienist
Shilpa, an esteemed Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) at Huntington Family Dental in Calgary, brings a profound dedication to superior oral health care, amalgamating her extensive education and notable accolades into her practice. Earning her Advanced Diploma in Dental Hygiene with Great Distinction from Saskatchewan Polytechnic Regina, Shilpa not only demonstrated academic excellence but also showcased exemplary clinical skills and professionalism, which garnered her the esteemed Hu-Friedy’s Golden Scaler Award.
Further enriching her professional toolkit, Shilpa possesses certification in the Local Anesthesia Module, enhancing her capability to deliver comprehensive and comfortable care to her patients. Her approach to dental hygiene is firmly rooted in patience and compassion, always aiming to provide optimal oral health care tailored to individual needs. A steadfast believer in preventative dental care, she works to educate her clients, empowering them with the knowledge to prioritize and maintain their oral health. She can offer service in both English and Hindi.
Away from the clinic, Shilpa cultivates a balanced life, cherishing moments spent with family and friends. Her personal interests weave through the tranquil paths of yoga and the expressive worlds of painting and cooking, where she explores her creativity. Shilpa remains a pivotal member of the Huntington Family Dental team, consistently advocating for and nurturing the oral health of the community with a blend of expertise, care, and education.

Registered Dental Assistant
Meet Alessandra, a Registered Dental Assistant at Huntington Family Dental. Since earning her certification in 2020, she has completed additional training as an Orthodontic Assistant, ensuring comprehensive dental care for all patients. She can offer service in both English and Portuguese.
Her commitment to patient care shines through every interaction. Alessandra relishes the opportunity to connect with and get to know both new and returning patients, ensuring that each visit is a comfortable and welcoming experience.
Away from the dental chair, Alessandra loves to explore new places and cultures through her travels. At home, you’ll likely find her spending quality time with her husband and their puppies, embracing the simple joys in life.

Meet Gurpreet, a welcoming face at the front desk of Huntington Family Dental. Originally from India, Gurpreet found a second home here in Calgary, particularly with the supportive and warm-hearted team at our clinic.
From her first encounter with our practice, Gurpreet felt a genuine connection and warm embrace from our team. She thrives on the daily interactions with both the team and patients, continuously gaining insights about dental care and enjoying the enriching experiences that come with it. She is able to help patients in both English and Punjabi.
